Chief Jason Hoevelmann is the fire chief for the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District. Chief Hoevelmann began his career 39 years ago as a junior firefighter and volunteered for over 30 years. Chief Hoevelmann serves on the FDIC Advisory Board and lectures across North America on leadership, officer development, tactics, and command. Chief Hoevelmann is the author of "The Company Officer" and "No Exceptions Leadership."
